The subject of dark matter has always been one of the greatest enigmas in physics. In fact, a substantial fraction of the universe’s total mass appears to be dominated by this elusive form of matter. Recently, I came across an intriguing research paper titled ‘Indirect Signals from Solar Dark Matter Annihilation to Long-Lived Right-Handed Neutrinos’. The researchers in this paper hypothesized about an astonishing aspect of dark matter by introducing the concept of ‘solar dark matter annihilation’. As a scientist, I am inspired by the boldness of this research, and it motivates me immensely to delve deeper into the extraordinary enigma that dark matter is. Though we still are far from the ultimate truth, this research marks an important step towards understanding the intricacies of the universe.
